Aprils Reflections

I was thrilled when my friend from high school contacted me to do a maternity shoot for her and also get some pics of her two beautiful girls.  Her goal was to surprise her hubby – but the girls were so excited that they let the cat out of the bag!  She told me that they were talking about our fun session for days afterward!  I love that – totally makes me smile!

This collage cracks me up.  Having sisters myself, I totally get that whole sisterly bond & love/hate relationship.  These girls were so cute and have that whole dynamic down to a tee.  Just guess how the little sister was feeling in the last two pics at the bottom!

And this has to be my absolute favorite image from our session.

Is it anything new that I am behind in blogging my sessions lately?  I’ve been so busy shooting and editing that blogging has taken a back seat.  I am catching myself up this week and remembered that I just had to share these!

I did this shoot at the end of March when the Chicago area was having some unseasonably nice weather.  Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t hot, but it wasn’t freezing either.  Unseasonably nice Chicago weather in March means that there wasn’t a foot of snow on the ground.

The “C” family was so much fun, and it doesn’t hurt that they are absolutely gorgeous, too.  Will you look at that cutie patootie’s eyes?  Just beautiful!
